SATISFACTION – WHAT WE SHOULD ALL BE STRIVING FOR IN THE HOMEBUILDING INDUSTRY!

“Satisfaction”, the 1965 hit song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, was the Rolling Stones’ first number one single in the United States and is considered to be one of the all-time great rock songs, placed in the second spot on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time by Rolling Stone Magazine and added to the Library of Congress National Recording Registry in 2006.
Jagger is reported to have said that the song was a statement about the rampant commercialism that the Rolling Stones had seen in America but I believe that he missed the point. There is nothing inherently wrong with commercialism, we just have not been executing it well in the past few years and that is why we “can’t get no satisfaction” and why the housing industry is still down in the dumps.
